Pauline completed an integrated master’s degree in Pharmacology at UCL before undertaking her PhD in Professor Maria Grazia Spillantini’s lab at the University of Cambridge, where she investigated the gut-to-brain axis in Parkinson’s disease. Pauline joined the group in October 2026 as a postdoctoral fellow to study how GLP-1 medicines modulate intestinal inflammation via the gut-brain-immune axis. Outside the lab, she enjoys playing tennis, running, and hiking, as well as exploring new places and museums.
